Ideas for furniture that will stay
“For Future Furniture” is a design ideas competition run by Production Next Door. With the competition we want to give all people with an interest in furniture and design the opportunity to realize their ideas and in return receive a share of every sale in the future. The furniture is made exclusively by local carpenters, so the customer supports local businesses with his purchase and at the same time sets a sign for sustainability.
We are extending our design idea contest and giving you an additional 10 days to come up with your ideas!

THE COMMUNITY DECIDES WITH ITS VOTES ABOUT YOU GETTING IN THE FINAL.
ALL FINAL DESIGNS WILL BE OFFERED ONLINE AND PRODUCED BY LOCAL COMPANIES.
YOU WILL RECEIVE A REVENUE FOR EVERY FUTURE SALE!

Anyone can take part in the “For Future Furniture – Design Ideas Competition”. The community chooses their favorites and the jury decides who will make it to the finals. At the finale at the Fab City Hamburg Conference & Expo
“The Future Of Making” on 04.03.2023, the jury will come together and choose the best designs among the finalists and award direct prizes in the different categories. You will find out which direct prizes will be awarded and which categories there are on 08.12.2022 under “Here’s how to participate”. We will develop the ideas of all finalists into products and sell them under license. The idea owner will therefore receive a permanent share of the proceeds.
